   FUN RUN!   

GOAL: $20,000

April 11, 2024

The Indian Hills Elementary School Fun Run is our annual signature event in which we engage the full student body, kindergarten- 6th grade, in a 30-minute outside run to raise money for our school. Students will challenge themselves to run as many laps as they can, and earn pledges from their family members and friends to raise funds for the PTO to support the school. 

Parents/Guardians are encouraged to cheer the students on as they run. Your child's teacher will let you know when they are scheduled to run as we get closer to the date! You can also set-up a personal fundraising page for your student here.

**All fundraising efforts, as well as creating a personal fundraising page are optional. Students can collect cash/check donations in their pledge envelopes instead of, or in addition to, collecting online donations. Donations made on the main fundraising page may not be credited towards class and individual fundraising goals, but will still help the event reach its overall goal of $20,000. All students will participate in the Fun Run with their grade even if they do not fundraise.**

Your donation allows the Indian Hills Parent Teacher Organization to support the students, teachers and staff at Indian Hills Elementary School. So far this year, in addition to hosting family events, the Indian Hills PTO provided each student and staff member with a free spirit gear t-shirt, provided funds for class field trips, and set-up art stations to supplement recess offerings. We could not provide our amazing staff with the support they need, and plan our fun, family activities without the generous contributions of our community.

This event cannot take place without the help of volunteers! We need people to help secure corporate sponsorships, reach out to businesses for prizes, as well as help on the day of the event. If you are already approved as a Hillsboro School District volunteer, contact us at bearspto@gmail.com and let us know you're available to help. **Sponsorship checks or community partner level in-kind donations must be received by March 22 to be included on Fun Run signage.**

Earn your participation raffle ticket with your first donation of $5 or more. Additional raffle tickets will be earned for each $25 you raise!

About Us.png

The Indian Hills Parent Teacher Organization supports the students, teachers and staff at Indian Hills Elementary School by hosting family nights, coordinating volunteers necessary to run programs and events, providing classroom supplies and equipment, and fundraising for "big ticket" purchases that fall outside of the school's budget.
